The activities at the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research are partially funded by a grant to the Centre for Climate Dynamics (SKD) from the Ministry of Education and Research for the period 2010-2021. The Bjerknes Centre was founded in 2000, and labeled a National Centre of Excellence (CoE) from 2003 - 2012.
